Scritti Mailing List...

Cupid's Love Letters at AoF
[member SCC-2]
10/12/99
As AoF will be closing it's doors, this list will remain active only until 31 March 2000. Scritti scholars interested in continuing discussions are advised to sign up for the Scritti Politti Onelist described below.

6/18/99
AoF is reviving the defunct Cupid's Love Letters mailing list! This new incarnation will also be a meta-mailing-list of two of the existing Scritti mailing lists, namely:

So lend us your fingers and brain, won't you? Subscribe to CLL@AoF and start chatting your soul away. What with the new releases due out any days now, surely there must be something to hear and say!

Postings to CLL are available in both undigested (ie individual new postings as they're posted) and digested formats (ie new postings collected and periodically sent out in one long email). Subscription and posting instruction are given in charts below.

Past postings will be archived every weekend. Because of storage space limitations, only "informative" postings will be archived at the moderator's discretion. See CLL Archive for more details.

Scritti Politti Onelist
[member SCC-2]
Started by Gareth Williams, this list beat AoF to it in reviving an email-based discussion outlet for the stranded Scritti fans. It is hosted by Onelist, a website that provide free email-list service as well as other community based services.

You have to register in order to subscribe and post to the list. But registration is free. Past postings are archived and availabe for viewing at the website. In addition to the email list, there is also a calendar facility where everyone can help keep track of important release dates.

To register and subscribe to the list, go to the Onelist website.

Unofficial Scritti Politti UK Website News Announcement
[member SCC-2]
Maintained by James Lawrence, this is the list to be on if you want all the latest gossip now! James has an amazing knack for digging up the rarest artifacts and although he hasn't had much help directly from the band, he has quite a few connections who keep him in the know.

This list not one you can post message to, but if you have information about the band, email James and he will pass it on as an news item.

To subscribe to the list, email James at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can subscribe to CLL@AoF, which is a meta-mailing-list combining all existing mailing lists.

AoF Discussion Forum
[member SCC-2]
This email list is an auxiliary of the web-based AoF Discussion Forum bulletin board. It's for people who want to receive a copy of the messages posted to the bulletin board.

To subscribe to the list, use the form on the Forum's Introduction page. Alternatively, you can subscribe to CLL@AoF, which is a meta-mailing-list combining all existing mailing lists.

Cupid's Love Letters
Nov 96 - Jan 97
This was a digest-format mailing list devoted to all things Scritti. It was moderated and manually maintained by self-described 'friendly, long-suffering' Scritti fan Dave O'Connell in the US. Unfortunately it had a very short life-span of only 2.5 months. As of January 1997, Dave was no longer able to maintain it and so it went out like a flame. The cinder of all 19 issues from CLL's fleeting existence is archived at AoF. See CLL Archive for more details.
