Welcome, Boys & Girls, to the World of Green Makeovers.Today we are going to learn by following Green's example how to go from frumpy to lovely...Or as we would say at Green Makeovers: from Oafish to Urbane. Can you say that for us, 'OAF-ISH' and 'UR-BANE'. Very good children. Now take a very close look at these pictures of Green BEFORE and AFTER his Green Makeover: |

Isn't he lovely AFTER his makeover? You can become just as lovely, boys and girl, by following these advice from Green:
No.1: Mascara. Always. Never leave home without it. Green doesn't, not ever since he started wearing mascara while a boy in the town of Cwmbran in South Wales organizing a branch of the Young Communist League.
No.2: Hairspray and gel. Lots of them. After all, Green didn't get Scritti onto Popspeak's list of synonyms for definition no.3 of Kajagoogoo -- Excessively gelled (hair) -- for no reason.
And last but not least, er, last but not least...(aside: Er, what is the last one, Green? Oh! Yeah, right, got it)
Last but not least: Lipstick. And Green's going to give us a demonstration of how he applies it. Aren't you lucky, boys and girls.
Shabba! Give the world a touch!
Now Green, Step up!
Come an' tellin' 'em girls so much you know...

See, wasn't that easy, boys and girls. And add some Gaultier suit, and
Voilà! The epitome of Green elegance....

Unfortunately...Green doesn't always follow his own advice!
To see what I mean take a look at the pictures of Green at Mr. Lawrences' Unofficial UK Scritti Politti Web Site.
Furthermore, latest rumor has it that depite his advancing age ;-), he's just got his lip pierced. Could this be the reason we haven't heard from him for so long, that he couldn't sing due to inflammation of the lips caused by unsterilized lip-piercing needle?
